Masthead Friends of Good Harbor

Governance and Organization

Friends of Good Harbor, Inc., is a non-profit organization comprising members of the community, mostly from Gloucester and Cape Ann .  Interested persons complete a membership form, pay annual dues, receive newletters and updates, and have voting privileges in the association.  A  board of directors is the governing body for the association.

Committees

Task Forces are organized to address specific areas of interest and initiatives.  Volunteers may participate on task forces by making contact with chairperson.

Non-Profit Organization and Tax Exempt

FOGH is chartered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a non-profit corporation and is exempt from Federal income tax under 501c3 of the IRS tax code. Contributions to FOGH are deductible under section 170 of the Code.  The letter of approval by the IRS may be downloaded by clicking here.
